Meet Magento India 2019 was one of the most awaited Magento event of the year. The event was organized during 2nd & 3rd February in India’s 1st Heritage city and the heart of Gujarat – Ahmedabad.
With more than 500 attendees, 25+ tech icons, and some of the leading brands of the world of commerce – Meet Magento India was undoubtedly a huge Magento event for 2019. As a digital commerce agency, we had a great time photo sponsoring this mega-event.
The venue was filled with a diversified audience ranging from developers to marketing professionals who were hungry to gain insights on the latest trends and innovations in the world of Magento.
Day 1:
The first day of the event started with welcome remarks by Brent Peterson & Vijay Golani who introduced all the attendees to the world of Magento and gave a brief overview of the event.
The event was further headed with keynotes by various speakers including Ramadas Prabhakar, Ashish Tandon, Bhagyashree Surana, Sergii Ivashchenko, Sonal Puri, Miguel Balparda,Tomasz Karwatka, Sushma Vyas and many more who shared their insights on diversified topics ranging from GraphQL to PWA.
Later on, Vinai Kopp shared his insights on Magento caching. He explained how to overcome the complexities you face while caching Magento 2 pages. All the attendees thoroughly enjoyed the learning experience.
Also, the session by Philippe Bernou on Seamless omnichannel solutions with Magento Order Management was something everyone couldn’t get enough of.
Apart from this, a session by David Manners on Magento Community engineering team and Sulagno Mukherjee on Driving B2B eCommerce with Magento was something that caught everyone’s curiosity. All the attendees were busy attending sessions that got their most attention.
And now when the day was up to an end, it was the time for the most awaited keynotes of the day. Two of the most awaited sessions of the day were Google keynote by Saurabh Rajpal, (Mobile Technical Solutions Consultant, Google) & Magento keynote by Ben Marks (Magento Evangelist — Magento Inc.). All the attendees made the most of those sessions.
The first day concluded with a final overview and prize distribution which was then followed by networking and drinks. Attendees of the event got an amazing opportunity to meet and greet some of the leading thinkers and doers of the industry.
As an agency, we thoroughly enjoyed meeting new people and getting to know them personally, their eCommerce journey and what brought them to the event. Here are some of the memories we shared…
Day 2: Contribution Day
The contribution day was sponsored by Wagento, Two Jay, and Nexcess. This was the day attendees were looking forward to since long. They were all excited to contribute their part to Magento community. Magento Community Engineering Team introduced all the attendees to Magento 2 development and gave them insights on how they can contribute to Magento 2 core.
Attendees got a chance to work with Magento core team architects and other Magento developers to contribute their part to Magento advancement to accelerate the innovation in Magento 2.
Apart from this, Magento U Certification exam was also organized at the venue. Large number of Krish TechnoLabs employees gave the exam and cracked it successfully.
Final Words:
Overall, #MM19IN was a one-of-a-kind experience for all the attendees. Everyone had a great time surfing and splashing to waters of Magento and the world of commerce. Krish TechnoLabs team got a chance to meet some really influential brains of the industry. Here, we would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to the organizers of the event for creating such an amazing experience for Magento enthusiasts.
